Where should men put their wardrobe dollars? The relationship between a man and his closet is much different than a a women’s relationship with her coveted items. It is a well know fact that men need far fewer items than women. So, it makes sense for men to have a few investment pieces in their closet. Sunglasses should fall into this category.
Keep the paparazzi guessing and hear the whispers of your fans as they assume you are someone famous when the sunglasses are purchased somewhere other than the gas station. (Are they able to fit frames to your face at pump?) I would avoid buying sunglasses at discount stores because they are rejects from departments stores.
STYLING TIP #1: Always put your drink down and take your shades off when you are having your picture taken.
STYLING TIP #2: Always put your sunglasses in their case to preserve the frames.
When looking for your new shades this summer, consider your lifestyle. If you veer towards more traditional dressing, you may want to try an updated version of an aviator. If you are a guy whose wardrobe goes from dressy to casual, try a rimless shade. The wrap around should really only be worn if you are a lifeguard or a tennis pro. The wrap arounds don’t really transcend any other lifestyle except career outdoorsmen.
Retire your tired old sunglasses. Invest in new shade. Your eyes will appreciate the protection!
